Overview
Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC is the second-generation multi-processing SoC system launched by Xilinx, which has been fully upgraded based on the first-generation Zynq-7000. Including advanced multi-domain, multi-island power management system; high-density on-chip UltraRAM static memory; single-channel speed up to 32Gbps high-speed transceiver; integrated 100gbE, PCIe Gen4, 150Gbps Interlaken and other I/O controllers; high-performance UltraScale Programming logic. Compared with Zynq-7000 series devices, encryption, security, and power management have been significantly enhanced.
Feature
A quad-core 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 processor with L1 and L2 level cache and ECC functions, which can be powered on and off independently;
Cache consistency interconnection unit provides two-way Cache consistency guarantee for PS and PL;
SMMU (System Memory Management) unit is used for PS and PL virtual memory management;
Dual-core ARM Cortex-R5F processor (with floating point expansion), which can run in lock-step mode or independent working mode, including Cache and storage with ECC, and can be powered off in pairs;
ARM Mali-400 MP2 GPU is used for 2D/3D graphics display, with a DP interface supporting one or two 4Kp30 video streams;
H.265/264 video codec, supports 4Kp60 codec under 10-bit pixel depth;
Configuration and power management unit based on three redundant processors;
DDR controller supports DDR3/4 and LPDDR3/4 SDRAM with ECC function, PS and PL of Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC share SDRAM space;
Hardcore peripherals include GigE, USB3.0, SATA3.0, SPI, IIC, CAN, UART, and Flash controllers (QSPI-NOR, SD, eMMC, ONFI NAND).
