FLEX

FLEX(Flexible Logic Element Matrix), Altera's PLD has the advantages of high performance, high integration and high cost performance, and the company also provides full-featured programmable device development tools and rich IP cores, macro function libraries, etc., so Altera has occupied the industry leader for many years Altera's PLD products include Classic series, MAX (Multiple Array Matrix) series, FLEX (Flexible Logic Element Matrix) series, APEX (Advanced Logic Element Matrix) series, ACEX series, APEX series, Cyclone series and Stratix series, etc.

FLEX 10K

Altera’s FLEX 10K devices are the industry’s first embedded PLDs. Based on reconfigurable CMOS SRAM elements, the Flexible Logic Element MatriX (FLEX) architecture incorporates all features necessary to implement common gate array megafunctions. With up to 250,000 gates, the FLEX 10K family provides the density, speed, and features to integrate entire systems, including multiple 32-bit buses, into a single device.

FLEX 10KE

Altera FLEX 10KE devices are enhanced versions of FLEX 10K devices. Based on reconfigurable CMOS SRAM elements, the FLEX architecture incorporates all features necessary to implement common gate array megafunctions. With up to 200,000 typical gates, FLEX 10KE devices provide the density, speed, and features to integrate entire systems, including multiple 32-bit buses, into a single device.

FLEX 6000

The Altera FLEX 6000 programmable logic device (PLD) family provides a low-cost alternative to high-volume gate array designs. FLEX 6000 devices are based on the OptiFLEX architecture, which minimizes die size while maintaining high performance and routability. The devices have reconfigurable SRAM elements, which give designers the flexibility to quickly change their designs during prototyping and design testing. Designers can also change functionality during operation via in-circuit reconfiguration.

FLEX 8000

FLEX 8000 devices provide a large number of storage elements for applications such as digital signal processing (DSP), wide-data-path manipulation, and data transformation. These devices are an excellent choice for bus interfaces, TTL integration, coprocessor functions, and high-speed controllers. The high-pin-count packages can integrate multiple 32-bit buses into a single device.
