DE1's SoC development kit provides a powerful hardware design platform built on a system-on-chip (SoC) FPGA company, which combines the latest dual-core Cortex-A9 embedded core with industry-leading programmable logic for the final design flexibility. Users can now take advantage of huge reconfigurations with high-performance power supplies and low-power processor systems. Altera's SoC integrates an ARM-based hard core processor system (HPS), including processors, peripherals and memory interfaces, and uses high-bandwidth interconnection backbone FPGA systems to seamlessly fabric. DE1's SoC development board is equipped with high-speed DDR3 memory, video and audio functions, Ethernet network, and more promises, many exciting applications.
The DE1 SoC Development Kit contains all the tools needed to use all the tools used with Microsoft Windows XP or a computer running later.
